Kyiv Education, Training and Youth Centre (KETY)

Kyiv Education, Training and Youth Centre (KETY) is a youth organization that works towards equipping young people with skills and qualifications needed for their meaningful participation in a democratic society, intercultural understanding, and successful transition in the labor market. The organization seeks to promote youth participation, reinforce the quality of informal and non-formal learning processes, and develop quality youth according to thematic strategies such as Youth Participation Strategy, Youthpass, and the European Training Strategy (ETS).

 

The organization supports spending time in another country to study, learn, and work, and encourages young people to engage and participate in civic society, raising awareness about European Union common values. The organization's programs and projects support the objectives of the European Education Area, the Digital Education Action Plan 2021-2027, the European Youth Strategy, and the European Union Workplan for Sport.

 

The main Erasmus+ sectors of the organization are addressing digital transformation through the development of digital readiness, resilience, and capacity, and common values, civic engagement, and participation. The organization's vision is to be one of the premier youth research, educational and training organizations in Europe, recognized for its excellence in research advances and educational opportunities offered in diverse contexts for youth.

 

The organization's mission is to give education a new dimension through innovative programs and instructional practices and promote leading-edge research contributing to the betterment of education in today's complex global environment. The organization aims to promote next-generation European learning in the national and international level, conduct high-level research in various educational fields, and foster entrepreneurship and innovation competencies, especially in women and young mothers. The organization promotes the personal and professional development of various target groups and encourages sustainable development in the frames of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
